Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Unit Coordinator
Part time opening (40 hours/2 weeks) for a certified nursing assistant/health unit coordinator. Candidate Must have previous experience as a health unit coordinator or equivalent position. The health unit coordinator works to support patients, physicians, nursing staff and other departments, facilitates communication, keeps the work area organized , greets visitors, etc. Candidate must possess excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills, be proficient with computers and reliable in attendance. Schedule will include some weekends and various shifts.
Full time opening for administrative assistant to provide support to hospital administrators and other department managers. Will also provide back up for medical staff credentialing. Must have outstanding customer service skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong computer skills, be able to handle multiple tasks, work with diverse groups of customers and be extremely organized and self-motivated. Must demonstrate ability to take and clearly write comprehensive and accurate meeting minutes. Confidentiality, reliability and positivity are required. Must have at least two years post high school administrative assistant education or the equivalent and at least two years experience in an administrative office role, preferably in a healthcare setting. Primarily day hours M-F, but must be available for some early morning and evening hours.
Nutrition Services Supervisor
Memorial Medical Center has a full time opening for an experienced nutrition services supervisor. Responsibilities include supervision of the staff in traditional food production and room service, safety, sanitation, training, scheduling, cafeteria service, and special function menu preparation. Also assists with nutrition screening, ordering, performance improvement and other special projects. This job requires excellent customer service skills, energy and the ability to work with a variety of people and situations in a professional manner. Certification as a dietary manager is preferred. Healthcare experience is very helpful. Benefits include health, dental, retirement plan and more.
MMC has an immediate, full time opening for an experienced Coder. Must be a RHIT or RHIA or be CCS or CCS eligible; 3-5 years coding experience preferred. Must have knowledge of ICD-9-CM, CPT-4 and Emergency Dept. coding and billing. Knowledge of ICD-10-CM & PCS is a plus. Full orientation is provided.
