MLT or Histology Tech

Immediate full time opening for ASCP registered MLT with Histology training or ASCP registered Histology Technician for a multispecialty community hospital laboratory. Candidate must be able to rotate days, evenings and nights as well as some weekends. Must have outstanding customer service skills, be punctual and reliable in attendance. Computer knowledge is required. Spend your free time enjoying the best of the Lake Superior/ Apostle Islands arts & recreation areas.

Registered Nurse


Immediate opening for a full time registered nurse for Obstetrics department of a  thriving critical access community hospital located on the south shore of beautiful Lake Superior.  Must have NRP or be willing to obtain. OB experience is required.  12 hour shifts. Must be willing to work 2 out of 4 weekends and share in call responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional nurse who wants to work with good staffing ratios, participate in nursing decisions, and be a part of a team that strives to meet the challenges of a diverse patient population in a progressive community hospital setting. Hospital Chaplain

Memorial Medical Center is looking for a full time Chaplain to join our team.  This individual must be a visible role model for the hospital’s mission and vision. MMC is an independent rural hospital.

The Chaplain assists in providing for the spiritual needs of patients, families and staff.  Works in concert with physicians, nurses, other members of the health care team and community clergy.  Will also provide spiritual support to Regional Hospice Services.

Candidate must be ordained and endorsed by a recognized faith group and possess a Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college or seminary and at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent. Three years experience in pastoral ministry including experience in a parish setting is preferred. Interest and experience in working with Native American populations as well as interest in bioethics and patient advocacy is a plus.
