Building Operations Manager

MMC has an immediate, full-time opening for a Building Operations Manager.

This position assists the Director of Building Operations in staffing, organization, and direction of Memorial Medical Center programs. Maintains buildings, grounds, equipment, and utilities. Keeps operational, and maintains systems relating to heat, air conditioning, ventilation, and utilities. Helps to coordinate construction projects. Ensures facilities remain in compliance with JCAHO and other regulatory agencies.

Candidates must have knowledge of steam generators; heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems; electrical service and distribution; electrical safety; emergency electrical generation systems; knowledge of plumbing systems; mechanical repair and electrical repair; knowledge of building construction practices. Current knowledge of codes, rules, and other governmental regulations that pertain to buildings, grounds, and physical plant operations is required. Must have knowledge of computer systems and programs related to building operations technology (spread sheets, word documents, e-mail, internet, and preventive maintenance programs). Knowledge of CAD system is preferred but not mandatory. Must have knowledge of blueprint reading. Supervisory experience is required.
