Director of Staff Development and CME Coordinator
Responsible for the planning, developing, and implementing the hospital’s education plan for staff, physician, and community education. Maintains the hospital’s CME accreditation, coordinates the learning management system, conducts periodic needs assessment to establish education initiatives, develops standards for competencies and supports department directors as necessary. Assumes a leadership role, under direction of CEO, in accreditation and re-accreditation of graduate medical education programs. Collaborates with Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, Decon Team Leader and community partners to set up drills and maintain emergency readiness. Collaborates with Human Resources and Employee Health NP to assure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA and CMS health requirements for staff. WI RN license and previous experience in adult education, staff development and management required. BSN required, Masters’ degree strongly preferred. Must have ANCC certification in staff development or be willing to obtain. Must demonstrate outstanding customer services skills, a high degree of initiative and independent judgement.
