About the Job:

Under the supervision of a physician, the Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) is responsible for providing high quality wound care services for out-patients, in-patients at MMC. Coordinates treatment to provide comprehensive wound assessments and plan of care including goals, implementation of treatment, evaluation and outcomes for patients throughout the organization. Provides patient, family and staff education regarding wound management prevention of pressure ulcers, support surfaces, dressing selections and other therapies. Is a resource person for physicians, wound team and clinical staff. Provides advanced treatments for chronic wounds using specialty dressings and adjunctive modalities. Participates in Performance Improvement plan of the organization and participates in marketing the Wound Care Program.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

Wound Care/Ostomy experience a plus

 

Shift Time: 8- hour shifts
