MMC has an immediate, full time opening in their Radiology department for a person with exceptional customer service skills. This position provides secretarial and support duties to Radiology staff. Primarily responsible for answering/returning all calls on a multi-line phone, scheduling patient appointments, coordinating preliminary paperwork/orders/images, and assisting in other department activities as requested. Works with third party payors, reception, medical records, and clinical staff.
Responsibilities and Duties:
A typing speed of 40-50 wpm, and knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office products is required. Must have legible penmanship. Knowledge of medical terminology and pervious patient care experience is required. Previous clerical experience and a radiology background are preferred. Will be required to become proficient in EPIC, PACS, PowerShare, ImageShare, SORNA, and Life Image.
