Critical Access Hospital means that we are a rural facility that provides needed access to patients who might otherwise have a difficult time reaching a hospital. Located in the city of Ashland, Wisconsin, MMC serves as a regional medical referral center for patients from seven northwestern Wisconsin counties and the neighboring Gogebic County of Michigan.
